zahnbeitel [the sickrose project] is an attempt to explore unseen dimensions of sound, music, and noise. the concept, known as concrete multi-core noise, is open to all possible influences; it creates new tension between complete arbitrariness and perfect sense (concettismo), between violence and subtlety. recent influences have come from ambient and so-called electronica, adding new options to the whole spectrum of noise, industrial, death metal, and classical modern avant-garde.
music, art, and performance will form one homogenic experience; the music and sound sculptures are merely produced first and used as a starting point. more literary works, video, 3d animation, installations, and spatializations will be added later (making zahnbeitel a typical project of the alpenrauschen media cooperative).
